A gift card is something one person buys and another person uses. Each one exists before anyone owns it, gets its own random code, and turns into Facility $ the moment it's redeemed. Checkout, bookings and invoices work the way they always have.
Click Pay, choose Gift card and pick Email card or Printed card. Families can also buy email gift cards from their own profile.
An email card goes out the moment the payment does. A printed card gets its amount at checkout, and you hand it across the desk.
The holder clicks Redeem in the email or types the code on their profile, or your front desk scans the card. It takes seconds.
The full amount lands in their Facility $, ready for lessons, rentals, events and more. Each code works once.

Blank until you sell it
Every printed card already has its code in Baseline, so the box arrives as blank stock that's worth nothing until a sale loads it.
Checked before anyone pays
Scan the barcode on the back and Baseline confirms it's a blank card from your stock. A loaded, redeemed or voided card is stopped before the charge.
Wallet-size plastic
Printed gift cards are credit card size, 3.375″ by 2.125″, full color with your logo, and carry a barcode your front desk can scan.
Every gift card is redeemed once, for its full amount, into Facility $ at your facility. From there it works anywhere Facility $ already does, from lesson bookings to invoices, and can be spent a little at a time.

Redeem a gift card
From the email
Redeem gift card in the email opens their profile with the code already filled in. One click finishes it.
On their profile
Under Payments, they type the code into Redeem a gift card and press Enter. Spaces in the code are fine.
At the front desk
Open the member in Users, expand Redeem gift card in their side panel, scan the card and click Redeem.
New to your facility? Create their account first. The money has to land on someone's profile.
Random 12-digit codes
Codes are random and checked to be unique, never numbered in order, so one card can't be worked out from the next.
Checked on the server
Customers never see or search other cards. Facility admins see card numbers, and buyers see their own cards without the code.
Five wrong tries, then a pause
After 5 wrong codes in 24 hours, a member has to wait until the next day or ask your front desk for help.
One use only
The card is marked redeemed in the same step that adds the Facility $, so it can never be redeemed twice.
Settings, under Gift Cards, shows what you've sold but not yet redeemed, which is your gift card liability, next to what's been redeemed and how many blank printed cards you have left.
Outstanding at a glance
The count and dollar total of cards sold but not yet redeemed, plus Redeemed and Blank cards in stock, per facility.
Check any card's balance
Scan or type a code into Scan a card to see its amount, status and history. It's how you answer “what's on my card?”
Resend or void
Resend an email card that got lost, or void a card sold by mistake so it can never be redeemed.
Selling gift cards is built into Baseline, and email gift cards need no stock: each one is created the moment you sell it. A gift card sale is taken like any other payment in Baseline. Printed gift cards are the one thing you buy up front.

Printed gift cards use the same order form as gym cards. Baseline takes your order, your payment and your card codes. Ricky Lelito and the team at Scan-Cards, our print partner, handle your design, proofs, printing and shipping.
In Settings, then Gift Cards, click Buy physical gift cards. Pick credit card size and how many, upload your logo, and add design notes, like a holiday design. Tick the box confirming you'll approve a proof.
The card saved on your Baseline profile is charged right away, and Baseline creates a random code for every card. They show in Settings, under Gift Cards, as blank stock, and the code list goes to Scan-Cards to print.
Need a design? You'll get 4 free design options built from your logo and branding. Uploaded your own artwork? They'll check it. Expect a digital proof by email within a few business days.
Reply to Scan-Cards with any changes. Nothing prints until you approve the final proof.
Your gift cards ship 5–10 business days after you approve the proof, to the address on your order.
There's nothing to scan in when the box arrives. Sell a card from Instant Checkout: choose Gift card, then Printed card, scan it and take payment.
File sizes, bleed, safe area and file types are the same as for gym cards. See the artwork specs.
Reply to your Scan-Cards email about your design or proof. For anything else, contact Baseline support, or book time with your account manager to get gift cards ready for the holidays.
Forecast upcoming revenue, age every outstanding balance, and let the recollection AI win back failed payments overnight.
When a membership billing cycle runs, new credits go out, family members stay covered, and door access follows the membership if you use keyless entry.
Printed key tags and cards link to a member with one scan, and every scan at the desk shows their bookings, waivers and payments.
When a member scans in, attendance is recorded and the check-in review shows their bookings, waivers, and any payments that need attention.

Everything you need to know about selling, redeeming and tracking gift cards in Baseline.
Yes. Gift cards are built into Baseline. Sell digital gift cards by email or printed gift cards at the front desk, let families buy email gift cards from their own profile, and track what's outstanding in Settings. Redeemed cards go into the holder's Facility $.
An email gift card is created when you sell it and arrives as a branded email with its code and a Redeem button. A printed gift card is a plastic card you order ahead as blank stock, then load with an amount when you sell it at the front desk. Both redeem the same way.
From $10 to $500. You set the amount when you sell the card, for both email cards and printed cards.
Yes. Logged-in customers can open Payments on their profile and click Buy a gift card. They add who it's for, a message and an amount, then pay by card, and the email goes out right away. Online buyers get email gift cards only. Printed cards are sold at the front desk.
Three ways: click Redeem gift card in the email, type the code under Redeem a gift card on their profile, or have your front desk scan the card in the member's side panel. Every way adds the full amount to their Facility $.
The full amount goes into the holder's Facility $ at the facility that issued the card, and the card is marked redeemed so it can't be used again. Facility $ can then be spent on lessons, rentals, events and more, a little at a time.
The card itself is redeemed once, for its full amount. That amount sits in Facility $, and Facility $ can be spent across as many bookings and purchases as it covers.
Baseline doesn't put an expiration date on gift cards. Gift card rules vary by state, so check your own state's rules if you plan to add terms of your own.
No. A gift card is redeemed into Facility $ at the facility that issued it.
Yes, because the amount lands on their profile. The email tells recipients to sign in or create a free account to redeem online. If someone new walks in with a card, create their account first, then redeem it at the desk.
In Settings, under Gift Cards, scan or type the code into Scan a card. You'll see its amount, its status and its sale and redemption history, without starting a sale.
Settings, under Gift Cards, shows Outstanding: the count and dollar total of cards sold but not yet redeemed, which is your gift card liability. Next to it are Redeemed and Blank cards in stock, and a list you can filter by Outstanding, Redeemed, Blank stock and Void.
Find the card in Settings, under Gift Cards, and click Resend gift card. The same code goes out again.
Void it in Settings, under Gift Cards, as long as it hasn't been redeemed. A voided card can't be loaded or redeemed.
Every code is 12 random digits, checked to be unique, so nobody can guess a card from another one. Codes are checked on the server, a member who enters 5 wrong codes in 24 hours has to wait until the next day, and each card can only be redeemed once.
$1 per card, sold in packs of 100, the same as gym cards. Design and 4 print proofs are included. Card processing is added at checkout, and you see the full total before you order.
In Settings, under Gift Cards, click Buy physical gift cards. Pick credit card size, choose a quantity, upload your logo or artwork and pay with the card saved on your profile. Scan-Cards, our print partner, emails you a proof to approve, and cards ship 5–10 business days after you approve it.
Yes. Add your design requests to the order, like a holiday design, or upload your own front artwork. Scan-Cards sends a proof, and nothing prints until you approve it.
No. Baseline creates every card's code when you order, so the cards are already in Settings as blank stock. Scan one at checkout when you sell it.
Any front-desk scanner that reads printed barcodes, including a basic 1D laser scanner, the same as for gym cards. Staff can also type the number from the back of the card.
No. Gift cards carry random 12-digit codes, and gym cards carry 7-digit numbers in sequence, so the two can never be mixed up.
