BE489 Wi-Fi Deadbolt
High-traffic commercial gym doors. Grade 1 security, loud motor for audible feedback in noisy environments, sweat-resistant physical buttons.
Buy the "Schlage Encode" (Wi-Fi). Do NOT buy the "Schlage Connect" (Z-Wave) — it will not work.
Wi-Fi Smart Module
Most gym setups. Fastest unlock response (1–3 seconds), bright LED status ring (green / red), and DoorSense to detect if the door is ajar.
Do NOT buy the "Bluetooth only" version. The box must say "Wi-Fi Smart Module included."
4th Generation
Shared buildings where you can't change exterior hardware. Replaces only the inside thumbturn — outside keyhole stays the same. Invisible from the outside.
